We work with individuals facing mental health challenges, social isolation, physical disabilities, addiction recovery, and more. Referrals can be made by organisations or by individuals on behalf of themselves.

Yes. Mind Body & Sea subsidises or fully funds activities so that cost is never a barrier to participation.

Sessions depart from Suffolk Yacht Harbour. Specific details and directions will be provided when your referral is confirmed.

Session lengths vary depending on the activity and the needs of the group. We will confirm the duration when we contact you after referral.

We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and flat-soled shoes. We will provide safety equipment and any specialist kit required. Specific guidance will be provided before each session.

We aim to be as inclusive as possible. Please note any access requirements on the referral form and we will do our best to accommodate them. Contact us directly to discuss specific needs.

Yes. We regularly work with groups from partner organisations. Please indicate on the referral form if you are referring more than one person and give an approximate group size.

Yes. Every Mind Body & Sea volunteer who works directly with participants holds an enhanced DBS check. We support volunteers through the application process when they join the team.

Neverland is fully insured for the activities we deliver and is operated by a qualified, professional skipper. Public liability cover is in place for all sessions.

Participant safety always comes first. If conditions are unsuitable on the day, we will rearrange the session for a later date at no cost. Decisions are made by the skipper using marine forecasts and harbour conditions.

The vessel carries lifejackets sized for adults and children, throw lines, first-aid equipment, and marine VHF radio. Every participant is fitted with a lifejacket before departure and given a short safety briefing.

Our work is funded by grants from local councils and trusts, individual donations, and corporate sponsorship. As a Community Interest Company, every penny we receive goes back into delivering activities for participants — full accounts are filed publicly each year with Companies House.
